Wedding Open Day

Whether you are after the perfect intimate setting or a fully traditional wedding party, this wedding open day is not to be missed. Due to the success of our February Open Day, we have decided to hold another one. Come and enjoy all we have to offer and explore how Bruisyard Hall and Barn can offer you your ideal tailor-made wedding experience.

Couples who have booked are free to arrive at your leisure and have another look around your venue.

We will set the Barn up in wedding glory (without your own style of course) and you can wander around the fabulous Bruisyard Hall.

You can check out a selection of our suppliers too as Dreamwave Events are adding some lighting up, Helen Newman is providing our Barn flowers and Moat Farm are providing our Hall flowers.

The Hall - 12-bedrooms all to yourself with games room, attic bar and 700 acres of grounds to explore. It’s perfect for a celebration with family and / or friends offering an idyllic bridal party preparation suite and guest accommodation. Plus, you can bring your dog! The Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies.

“It’s a home, not a hotel. You can kick your shoes off and put your feet up by the fire or enjoy a G&T on the terrace. Really settle in and feel at home. Families and friends love the privacy and the feeling of being at home in such an authentic and historic corner of Suffolk.” Robert Rous - owner

The Barn - A stone’s throw from the Hall, the barn that once housed pedigree Friesian cows has been converted into a grand setting licensed for weddings and parties. The exposed oak beams, wooden floors and high ceiling still retain the feel of the medieval history, with great natural light and views of rolling farmland. You can take The Barn on it's own or coupled with The Hall.

Booking is essential for all visitors, on a first come first served basis.
