Accommodation

How many people can you accommodate in total?

The hall accommodates 24 adults in 12 bedrooms. A minute's walk from the hall we have a further 2 double bedrooms, sleeping 4.

Is Bruisyard Hall dog-friendly?

Yes – it's a fantastic house for dogs. We have a spacious lobby with a lockable gate for keeping your dogs overnight, while during the day they have free roam of the ground floor of the hall.

Does the hall have wheelchair access?

Unfortunately not. Bruisyard Hall is an incredibly old house and does have a lot of steps and uneven floors.

Can some of our guests camp at Bruisyard Hall?

Whilst we do have a lot of beautiful space, we don't permit camping on the grounds.

Do you have any cots or children's beds?

Yes we do – we can provide two z-beds for children under twelve, and two cots free of charge.

CATERING

Can we bring our own caterer?

To ensure the best level of service we have our own in-house catering team at Bruisyard Hall and therefore do not allow for external caterers.

Do you provide catering at the hall?

We do! We can cater for as much or as little as you need at the hall – everything from gorgeous cooked breakfasts, to 3 course serviced meals.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

We have a fantastic wine list, together with great options for beer and cider so to keep things really simple, we don't permit people to bring their own alcohol. There are no restriction on alcohol at the hall.

Can we make special requests for drinks behind the bar?

We're happy to provide cask beers and special spirits on request at the barn. Speak to us and we'll see what we can do.

Are you able to provide breakfast?

We are not a hotel or a B&B and so breakfast isn't provided as standard, however by prior arrangement our chef can come to the hall to cook a variety of wonderful breakfasts.

Do you have a BBQ?

We do have a BBQ at the hall, on the patio outside the kitchen. It's a gas BBQ and it's free to use.

What is included in the hire of the barn?

Included in the hire of the barn is:

Can we put a marquee up on the lawn?

Yes you can. If you require a capacity for dining larger than 140 then a marquee on the lawn is a good option.

Is there a bridal suite?

There are two bedrooms at the barn and twelve bedrooms at the hall, one of which is our Master Suite – perfect for your wedding night!

Can we get married outside?

The legal ceremony must take place indoors, however we can certainly arrange for a celebratory ceremony to take place in the grounds.

Can we bring our own cake?

In what way can we decorate the barn?

We're happy for you to decorate the barn in lots of different ways including with candles in glass jars. We can provide lots of options for lighting installations too such as fairy lighting canopies, vintage hanging lamps and festoon strings. Chat to us about your ideas.
