Robert and Teresa Rous
When Teresa and Robert Rous inherited Bruisyard from Robert’s father in the mid-80s, they had a shared love of the fascinating history of this former nunnery, farm and stately home, and a great desire to return it to its former glory. Now they want people to come and enjoy the splendour of this property for many years to come.

Tim has been in hospitality since his university days and has been involved with restaurants, hotels and events ever since.
Bruisyard Country Estate gives Tim the opportunity to nurture a really special place, and to lead the excellent passionate and committed team.

Head of Events & Marketing
Katie joined the Bruisyard Country Estate events team in November 2017.
With several years experience in the wedding and events industry across Suffolk, her passion and dedication for event planning shines through in her work.
Always approachable and enthusiastic, Katie will never hesitate to go the extra mile to ensure a couple’s wedding journey - from first viewing to the big day itself - is the complete stress free experience at Bruisyard Country Estate.
Ruth
Senior Events Manager
Ruth joined the events team at Bruisyard Country Estate in 2021. Ruth's passion for planning, organisation and management has shone through since an early age. Having enjoyed a successful nursing career, her enthusiasm for helping people has led her to transfer her many skills to enjoy a new career venture.
With a kind and caring approach, Ruth will go above and beyond to take the stress out of planning. Her attention to detail is second to none. She has great ability to put those around her at ease and help you create a truly magical day.

Emma's attention to detail and love for her role ensures that each guest is wowed while staying at Bruisyard.
Emma recently collected the prestigious Rose award from Visit England, for providing outstanding experiences to guests at Bruisyard Hall.

NINA
Head Chef
Nina joined the Bruisyard kitchen team in 2021, later taking on the role of Head Chef in 2023.
She had a passion for cooking at a young age, starting her chef career in her late teens, and since then has worked across Norfolk, London, Australia and Suffolk honing her culinary skills in a range of restaurants.
Nina will work with you to make sure the food you and your guests enjoy at the estate is everything you imagined and more. With her passion for local and seasonal produce, your menu is safe in her hands.
DANIEL
Sous Chef
Daniel joined the Estate in 2020.
With his passion for pastry and flare for attention to detail and presentation, he strives to make every meal a meaningful experience.
Drawing inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of Bruisyard Hall, Daniel’s culinary creations captivate the senses and leave a lasting impression on every guest.
With many years in the industry, his dedication to his craft is unwavering.
Ellie
Event Manager
Ellie joined the events team at Bruisyard Country Estate in 2023.
With a background in Stage Management, Ellie has a keen eye for detail and organising. She is dedicated to collaborating closely with couples making sure there is a smooth transition from the planning stages to the finishing touches of the wedding day making sure they are delivered to the highest of standards.
Ellie has a passion for running intimate weddings and has enjoyed being a part of their special day.

Event Manager
Kate joined the events team at Bruisyard Country Estate in 2023.
With a varied history in hospitality and voluntary work, she endeavours to give all clients and guests the best service possible, ensuring all needs are met and expectations surpassed.

Head Gardener
David is tireless in his determination to keep the garden and grounds at Bruisyard looking their best. Mowing keeps him fit for his annual marathon while his weekends are spent more peacefully behind a fishing rod where he is an expert.
