The beauty of Bruisyard shines through, whatever the season.

The most popular time to get married is of course summer, but no matter the time of year, the Estate is a stunning setting for your wedding. Whether it’s the early flowers and trees wearing garlands of pink and white blossom of spring, the rich red, orange and yellow tones which sweep across the Estate as summer ripens into autumn, or the stark beauty of a crisp winter’s day, with the hall providing a sparkling background for photos as twilight falls, Bruisyard is truly special.

Tie the knot as nature stirs back into life.

Spring is one of the most exciting times of the year; the long winter is over, birds are singing again and everywhere you look the trees are blossoming and carpets of wildflowers are opening their faces to the sun in preparation for the warm days of summer ahead. What better season to start your new journey together as a married couple?

SUMMER

The long lazy days of summer have always been the most popular time of year to get married and it’s easy to see why.

The Estate looks splendid in the summer sunshine, and you’ll find plenty of gorgeous spots for photos in our leafy grounds and summer meadows. Your reception party can spread out across the expansive lawn and enjoy the panoramic views of the gorgeous Suffolk countryside that surrounds Bruisyard. And even if your day does fall prey to an unseasonal rain shower, there is ample room indoors for your guests and you to enjoy the festivities and party long into the night.

Autumn Weddings

Autumn is one of the most colourful times of the year to get married, as the leaves turn and trees seem to blaze with reds, oranges and yellows.

Summer’s warmth still lingers during the day, and this combined with the rich natural backdrop makes autumn one of the most popular times of the year to get married. It’s also harvest time, so you have a huge range of options when it comes to choosing your wedding menus with our chef - there is an abundance of local produce available to create some simply stunning dishes.

Even though autumn days are light, night falls more swiftly at this time of year and this gives you so many possibilities when it comes to styling your wedding, choosing your outfits and taking photos. An autumn wedding has plenty to recommend it.

Winter Weddings

There’s something utterly magical about a winter wedding, and some of Bruisyard’s finest features really come into their own on crisp, cold days.

Winter events are getting more and more popular in this country, but they’re still uncommon enough to make your wedding really stand out. The light you get around the Bruisyard estate during the colder months is truly special, and as twilight falls in the afternoon, the barn and the hall absolutely sparkle in the darkness, giving you a backdrop for some stunning photographs.

Menus are different too. All the food we create is in tune with the seasons, so you and your guests will get to enjoy a wedding breakfast that is a contrast to anything you’d usually get during summer.

So wrap yourself up in winter finery, enjoy a feast with your guests, make afternoon darkness the backdrop to a romantic reception - and maybe, just maybe, snow will fall and ensure you have a white wedding!
